Understanding the FreightValidate screening process and what each status means.
FreightValidate Status Indicators
Each status reflects the outcome of FreightValidate's initial compliance screening.
Passed Initial Screening
Proceed to carrier selection vetting process
The entity has passed FreightValidate's initial compliance screening.
Based on the records reviewed by FreightValidate, no apparent violations of applicable federal or state rules, regulations, statutes, registration requirements, or filing obligations were identified during the initial screening process.
A Green Check means the entity is ready to proceed to the formal vetting process.
A Green Check does not constitute a safety rating, endorsement, recommendation, approval, or carrier selection decision. It simply indicates that the entity has successfully passed FreightValidate's initial compliance screening and may proceed to additional review and evaluation.
Screening Recommended
Additional Screening Recommended Before Vetting
FreightValidate identified one or more items that warrant additional review before beginning the formal vetting process.
Additional due diligence is recommended to better understand the issue and determine whether it impacts your organization's policies, procedures, or risk tolerance.
A Yellow Warning does not necessarily indicate non-compliance. It indicates that further review is recommended before proceeding.
Violations Found in Initial Screening
Regulatory Violations Identified
FreightValidate identified one or more compliance concerns involving applicable federal or state rules, regulations, statutes, registration requirements, or filing obligations.
These concerns should be corrected, or resolved explained before proceeding with the formal vetting process.
A Red X indicates that compliance-related concerns were identified during the initial screening process and require corrective action or further review before vetting can begin.
